Yamariki Sushi

Amazing experience! Josephine was so kind and the atmosphere was wonderful. The food came out very quickly, and it all tasted amazing. I will definitely be coming back!

Been going to this restaurant since it opened and the quality of food has always been fantastic. They have different specials and it’s important to check, see picture. We were there on a Tuesday at 4 PM and got 40% off our meal. be mindful that they also off at a lesser discount when you order online or walk up order and take out. The quality of the food is top notch as you can see from the pictures. We always have a large sake with our meal and it’s always warming to the soul to drink it. The restaurant itself is L-shaped and does contain bathrooms in the back. You can see the picture of the sushi bar which has bench seats with table and chair seating across from it. However, when you walk in the door, you’re at the cash register and if you kept going straight, that’s where the actual dinner booths are located along with the restrooms. Sometimes the restaurant seems a little dark, so make sure you have your reading glasses and your phone if you need it for a little extra light. The menu is quite extensive as you can see with a variety of sushi and sashimi options. For happy hour sashimi is not part of the happy our However, when ordering it’s very clear because on the order card, there are things that are marked with green and things that aren’t and the ones that are green are not included in the happy hour. We ordered three types of rolls and they’re all labeled in the pictures. This included the TNT, Alaska, and Eel rolls. We also ordered a few pieces of Unagi and Hamachi. Everything is top quality and taste fantastic. The sushi melts in your mouth with a little bit of soy sauce. Be mindful when you come as it can get crowded. They do have outdoor seating, which is really nice in the summertime although it’s a little chilly right now. I would highly recommend this as a sushi stop just be mindful of when you come and when the specials are, and you can save a lot of money for top quality food.

Service is friendly and fast, I sat at the bar top and was checked on multiple times to see if I needed anything. Sushi came out quickly and was delicious and very generous sized. I even had to ask for a to go container and they boxed it for me and gave me a nice sushi see through plastic box. Bill was returned quickly which I always appreciate when I’m trying to pay and leave. Would recommend their happy hour they have 30% off 3 rolls from 3:30 - 5:30 pm I believe. Great option if you’re a couple.

Best Sushi in town! They also have very good desert as well. Sara was our server, she was fabulous! We highly recommend to our friends and family.

My favorite Japanese restaurant in Carlsbad. Staff and people here are amazing. Friendly, jovial and caring. I love the food here. My favorite here is the kama. I was introduced to it by one of our friends and I love this grilled fish collar. Amazing dish, try it with fresh wasabi.

Delicious sushi roll, I had the Red Bird. Pleasant seating outside, where we could have our dog with us. The service was top notch. Food is a little on the pricey side, but worth the food quality.

We came upon this restaurant coincidentally and their sushi and rice bowls were very delicious. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family.

Came here to celebrate a birthday! They offer so many types of sake, beer and wine. We ordered a Flower Roll, Salmon Lemon, and the Happy Ending roll. The Salmon Lemon roll was my favorite! Such a great flavor profile from the spicy tuna inside the roll to the brightness of the lemon and fresh, slightly sweet and fatty salmon on top all went so well together. I would order this every time! The happy ending had mango on it, I remember that. But not as good as I had hoped. The service was pretty good for having such a large group.
